The Sedro Woolley Public Library is a beautiful new addition to this small, wooded community in western Washington state. The previous building was only about one third the size and had very little space to study or gather. This new building has multiple meeting and event spaces for classes or book clubs. Additionally, the staff looks forward to being a place where the youth in their community can gather after school to study or socialize, quietly or course.
The Lake Stevens Police Department (LSPD) has been in desperate need of a new building for years. The city of Lake Stevens has been growing exponentially and the department has struggled to keep up. With the new facility that once served as the Fire Department headquarters, the LSPD is now able to house evidence, vehicle seizures, trainings, and their full staff, on-site. Additionally, each room includes custom furniture to meet the specific needs of the officers and staff.
Idaho Supreme Geeks provides IT support for both the Idaho Supreme Court in Boise and other court buildings around the entire state of Idaho. As the department grew to support so many scattered courts, the IT group moved into the basement of the courthouse to make room for everyone. To create a space the team would enjoy, they came to OEC for a fresh design that didn’t feel like a basement “dungeon”. OEC provided the interior design, furniture selections, flooring, wall coverings, and sound baffling for the space. Now the basement looks amazing and supports the team as it continues to grow.
The Nampa Public Library is a beautiful building right in the heart of downtown Nampa. It is in the perfect central location for residents to come and enjoy searching for their favorite books before lounging in new furniture provided by OEC. The OEC furniture team installed many of the public seating, work tables, and outdoor seating throughout the multiple floors of the building. Visitors can use tall study tables and outdoor seating while a variety of bright and small seating is perfect for kids.
