Job Description
As a Workplace Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations transform their workspaces into environments where employees thrive. Your responsibilities will include prospecting new clients, presenting our services to decision-makers and industry influencers, and closing deals. With comprehensive hands-on training provided, you will become an expert in our various furniture product lines and the sales process within the interiors industry. Hands-on Training

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is advantageous.
- Prior experience (ideally 1-3 years) in a design, architecture or related field is preferred; exceptional entry-level candidates will also be considered.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual (AV) and Communications Installer to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced audio-visual systems. This position combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful completion of AV projects while mentoring and guiding team members. The Lead AV Installer collaborates closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the installation, configuration, and testing of AV systems, ensuring all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for projects, resolving complex issues and providing guidance to the team.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to plan and execute installations.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and equipment management to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate system documentation, including schematics and as-built drawings.
- Team Supervision and Training:
- Supervise junior technicians, providing mentorship, technical training, and performance feedback.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing among team members.
- System Maintenance and Support:
- Oversee routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of installed AV systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and client concerns, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client satisfaction.
- Document system configurations, updates, and issue resolutions for future reference.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and emerging technologies.
- Promote adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with AV systems, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Q-SYS, and Dante.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and IT integration for AV systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), Crestron Master Programmer, or advanced Dante Certification are highly preferred.
Education and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in audio-visual technology, electronics, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in AV installation and integration, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Work Environment
- On-site work at client locations, with occasional travel required.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and perform tasks in a variety of environments.
Location
This position is based in Boise, ID, with occasional travel to client sites within the region.
