What You’ll Do

Transform workspaces: Help organizations design environments that inspire productivity, creativity, and employee well-being.

Prospect & engage: Identify new opportunities with companies that need fresh solutions for their offices.

Consult & present: Share ideas, products, and services with decision-makers and industry influencers in a way that excites and motivates.

Close high-value deals: Drive projects from $50K to $1M+, delivering both personal financial success and long-lasting client relationships.

Build trust: Develop ongoing relationships with clients, becoming their go-to partner for workplace transformation.

Own projects: Manage furniture and interiors projects from start to finish, celebrating each space you help bring to life.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (commercial preferred).

Hands-on Training

Compensation
Salary + Commission. This position offers a competitive salary plus commission, providing high earning potential based on sales performance. Overview: Seeking a competitive, dynamic, and ambitious leader to head up our sales efforts with contract furniture. The Sales Manager is responsible for building and coaching high-performing sales teams and achieving sales goals for each of our three markets. The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in our expansion efforts and has high rewards for success. Are you the one who can help us get there?

 

What You’ll Do

Develop a High-Performing Sales Team

  • Hold team members accountable to sales goals, processes, and company values
  • Hire, train, and retain top-performing salespeople
  • Mentor, coach, and manage team members
  • Motivate and inspire the sales force
  • Train team members how to prospect, present, and close deals

Learn and Implement our “Discover, Design, Deliver” process

  • Become an expert in our sales and implementation process—Discover, Design, Deliver
  • Gain expert knowledge in using all of our software tools, including Smartsheet, Insightly, Hedberg, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office 365
  • Become an expert in contract furniture and understand vendors and offerings to win more business
  • Train and hold team members accountable for using our process and tools
  • Work with other department leaders to improve the process and solve problems so we can achieve our company’s mission of Exceptional Spaces—On time, On budget

Business Development

  • Lead efforts for business development in all markets
  • Find, develop, and distribute leads to sales team members
  • Train team members how to do business development
  • Manage team participation in industry-specific and approved networking groups
  • Work with our Marketing department to cultivate strategic relationships with key Architecture and Design (A&D), Commercial Real Estate firms (CRE), and General Contractors (GC)
  • Achieve company goals in achieving new business from key sectors, including corporate, healthcare, education, hospitality, and government
  • Develop a list of 40 key strategic competitive accounts for each market and make sure we have a strategy for winning that account
  • Develop and implement strategies to become the market share leader for every market
  • Lead out on relationships with C-Suite at target accounts

Plan, Present, and Win

  • Become expert level in responding to and winning bids and competitive opportunities
  • Win the majority of RFPs and competitive bids in each market
  • Lead the team in creating winning bid response strategies
  • Become a confident, dynamic, and influential presenter

Schedule

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual (AV) and Communications Installer to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced audio-visual systems. This position combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful completion of AV projects while mentoring and guiding team members. The Lead AV Installer collaborates closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and testing of AV systems, ensuring all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for projects, resolving complex issues and providing guidance to the team.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to plan and execute installations.
  • Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and equipment management to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate system documentation, including schematics and as-built drawings.

Team Supervision and Training:

  • Supervise junior technicians, providing mentorship, technical training, and performance feedback.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing among team members.

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Oversee routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of installed AV systems.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and client concerns, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum client satisfaction.
  • Document system configurations, updates, and issue resolutions for future reference.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure all installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and emerging technologies.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with AV systems, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Q-SYS, and Dante.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and IT integration for AV systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in audio-visual technology, electronics, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in AV installation and integration
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
