Overview

Syringa Property Management partnered with Create Spaces to refresh their corporate office and better reflect their collaborative, people-first culture. Their existing workspace was filled with heavy, outdated furniture—large desks and storage units that no longer matched how the team worked.

Instead of simply replacing the old pieces, we took a holistic approach to reimagine the layout, enhance functionality, and embrace the office’s unique footprint. The new design not only supports how employees work today but also takes full advantage of the scenic river and greenbelt views just outside their windows.

Project Goals

This office refresh was about more than aesthetics. Syringa wanted a space that would:

  • Reflect their upbeat, engaging company culture
  • Replace outdated furniture with ergonomic, height-adjustable solutions
  • Ensure all team members had comfortable, modern workstations
  • Offer common areas for casual meetings, lunch breaks, and social interaction
  • Maximize the beautiful natural views surrounding the office
  • Make the unique layout feel intentional and cohesive

Solutions and Highlights

To meet these goals, Create Spaces delivered a full commercial furniture solution that blended private focus spaces with shared collaboration zones:

  • Private Offices were updated with clean, contemporary furnishings that created a calming, productive environment.
  • Shared Offices featured flexible layouts and ergonomic chairs, supporting both individual tasks and teamwork.
  • In the open office, we replaced bulky desks with 13 height-adjustable workstations, giving each team member the ability to sit or stand as needed throughout the day.
  • Common Areas were a key part of the transformation. Two inviting collaboration zones now serve as go-to spots for team meetings, meals, or a quick moment to recharge—with views of the river and greenbelt as the backdrop.

Furthermore, every design decision was made to feel intentional, cohesive, and aligned with Syringa’s mission and brand identity.

Results

As a result of the redesign, Syringa’s office is now more functional, visually appealing, and enjoyable for employees. Team members appreciate the modern furniture, flexibility in how and where they work, and a renewed sense of connection in the shared spaces.

This fresh environment not only boosts productivity but also supports employee satisfaction and retention—making it easier for Syringa to attract and keep top talent.

Overview

When St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church set out to build a new Parish, they partnered with Create Spaces to bring their vision to life. Together, we aimed to create a modern, welcoming environment that reflects the church’s mission of being welcoming, transformed, and generous.

From areas of worship to educational spaces and staff offices, every part of the new facility was intentionally planned to support both the spiritual and practical needs of a growing congregation. The result is a flexible, comfortable, and connected space that fosters community and reflection.

Project Goals

To support St. John Neumann’s goals, Create Spaces focused on three core priorities:

  • Designing a clean, open workspace that encourages productivity and connection among staff and volunteers
  • Delivering a warm, memorable experience for both long-standing parishioners and new visitors
  • Enhancing the teaching and learning environments for ministry leaders and students alike

To meet these goals, Create Spaces provided a full suite of commercial furniture and audiovisual (AV) solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Parish. Key highlights include:

  • Music Rooms that support learning and creativity, designed with comfort and acoustic performance in mind
  • Private Offices for church staff and clergy, including a thoughtfully designed space for the parish leader—combining elegance, comfort, and functionality.
  • Flexible Meeting Rooms equipped with adaptable furniture to accommodate everything from small group sessions to ministry planning
  • Conference Rooms with integrated AV technology to support smooth, efficient communication and presentations

Each space was created with the intention of being both highly functional and aligned with the values of the church.

Results

Although the new Parish will officially open its doors in the coming months, the completed spaces have already been met with excitement and gratitude from church leadership and members. The updated design not only supports daily worship and operations but also creates a lasting impression that reinforces the church’s mission.

Following the success of this project, Create Spaces is proud to continue partnering with St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church. Upcoming projects include the renovation of their original church and the addition of expanded seating throughout the new facility.

The resulting workspace blends modern functionality with the warm, inviting aesthetic Boise Co-Op is known for. Multiple seating and work zones allow employees to move freely and choose the setting that best suits their task—whether that’s focused individual work or active team collaboration.

ACHD Traffic Management Center

Overview

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is responsible for managing and improving local roads and bridges throughout Ada County, Idaho. As part of their commitment to smarter transportation planning and real-time traffic oversight, ACHD recently constructed a new headquarters off Franklin Road. A key feature of this new facility is the ACHD Traffic Management Center (TMC)—a mission-critical space where live data supports fast, informed decisions that impact thousands of daily commuters. Create Spaces was awarded the TMC project through a competitive bid, delivering both audiovisual and furniture solutions for this high-performance environment.

Project Goals

ACHD envisioned a centralized operations center equipped to monitor countywide road activity with efficiency and clarity. Their goals included seamless communication, instant access to traffic camera feeds, and an intuitive interface for managing congestion and road events. The space needed to be highly functional, durable, and designed for around-the-clock use by technical specialists.

Solutions and Highlights

Create Spaces’ AV and Furniture teams collaborated to craft a custom-built, integrated solution. At the heart of the room is one of the largest videowalls in Idaho—a 14’ x 4’ Planar DirectLight Ultra (DLU) Series wall. This state-of-the-art MicroLED display provides crisp visuals, ultra-fine pixel pitch, and deep contrast. Features include 24/7 reliability, Planar ActivAlign™ for seamless alignment, an off-board remote power supply to minimize heat and noise, and the Planar WallDirector™ controller for user-friendly wall management. With up to nine presets and IP-based control, users can configure views on demand. Plus, modular square tiles make any maintenance fast and cost-effective.

Complementing the display is a custom operator console built specifically for ACHD. Each workstation supports multiple monitors and features integrated HVAC—offering personal heating underfoot and cooling from the desktop at the touch of a button. This comfort-focused functionality keeps operators performing at their best during long shifts. Clean cable management, ergonomic design, and visual cohesion with the facility round out the solution.

Results

ACHD’s new TMC is fully operational and already making a difference—enabling faster response times, improved traffic flow, and a more connected infrastructure system. The space blends form and function, showcasing how custom AV and furniture solutions can power smart city operations. This project reflects Create Spaces’ commitment to elevating mission-critical environments through thoughtful design and technology integration.

After nearly 20 years in the same space, it was time for a full office tenant improvement (TI) and remodel at TOK Commercial’s Boise, Idaho office. With advancements in technology and evolving workplace needs, their boardroom and conference rooms required upgrades to stay ahead.

Designed to impress, the refreshed office features a stunning lobby, high-end boardroom, and thoughtfully crafted workstations. The boardroom, medium conference room, and front desk now showcase custom quartz tabletops paired with Requisite Highback Chairs from Allseating, blending elegance with comfort.

We can’t get enough of how the front lobby turned out! This project strikes the perfect balance between form and function, creating a space that’s both refined and inviting.

TOK wanted a quiet, sophisticated reception area, so we introduced MPS Acoustics—but not just any acoustics. These sleek, modern solutions not only enhance the space visually but also minimize noise and echo, making the environment as serene as it is stylish.

As SRA 831(b) Admin continues to expand, Create Spaces has been there every step of the way, providing workspace solutions that evolve with their needs. In this latest project, we added four private offices and one shared office, each designed for flexibility, organization, and productivity.

Every office features Ology Height Adjustable Desks for ergonomic comfort, paired with Steelcase storage solutions—because a well-organized space is the foundation of efficiency. These solutions help manage inventory, equipment, and supplies, reducing clutter and streamlining daily operations.

For the shared office, we incorporated 3F Hanging Panels by AMQ Solutions—a simple yet effective way to add privacy, divide space, and soften sound while enhancing the overall design.

The Create Spaces showroom in Las Vegas, NV recently underwent a huge facelift. Among the updates and changes were some impactful new collaboration spaces with technology engineered for hybrid work. The rooms are designed to give everyone a virtual “seat at the table” no matter where they sit in the room or connect from remotely. Digital signage is also on display in the lobby to welcome guests and tell a story about the company.

This two story location built to house administrative staff does not, however, lack any of the life or vitality of its stands. Thanks to expert interior design and fantastic furniture, this office is full of color, life, and fun. From its wallpapered conference room to its comfortable and interactive lounges, this Dutch Bros office is built to promote the company culture and support all the shops around town.
