The challenge

Nampa Waterworks needed a complete flooring installation in a brand new shell building. Every room started as bare concrete with unfinished walls. In addition, the specified 12×24 bathroom tile was backordered through Dal Tile for two months. Because the job site couldn’t wait, Create Spaces sourced 24×24 tiles in the same color and cut every 12×24 piece in-house on a wet saw. The team made hundreds of custom cuts to keep the project on schedule without changing the design.

Commercial flooring delivered for Nampa Waterworks

Bathroom tile — floor to ceiling in two full bathrooms

Create Spaces installed a patterned tile layout in both bathrooms using 12×24 and 6×24 tiles on the floors. The walls received 36-inch porcelain tile up to six feet. On the vanity walls, the team installed a handcut textured subway tile in a vertical stack from floor to ceiling. Three separate metal trim profiles finished the bathrooms — dialect transitions between floor and wall tile, movement joints on long wall runs, and corner and top dial metals throughout.

Carpet tile across office and work areas

Create Spaces installed approximately 3,500 square feet of patterned carpet tile across the office areas. Mid-install, the team identified a material shortage. Rather than delay the project, they overnighted the remaining carpet and finished on schedule. The client never knew there was a gap.

Rubber base, marmoleum, and walk-off matting

The project included 1,000 linear feet of rubber base — black in the shop areas, white in the tile zones. Create Spaces also installed marmoleum sheet vinyl in designated areas and walk-off matting in the entry vestibules. Every flooring transition received the appropriate metal profile for a clean, commercial-grade finish.

Common area tile and LVT

The common area connecting both bathrooms received 36-inch 4,000-series powder wall tile across approximately 2,500 square feet. Adjacent office spaces got luxury vinyl plank flooring. Before installation, Create Spaces primed all concrete substrates for superior long-term adhesion — a step most installers skip.

Idaho State University Pharmacy — Education furniture built for modern learning in Pocatello

Idaho State University’s College of Pharmacy needed education furniture in Pocatello that matched the ambition of their program. Specifically, they wanted spaces flexible enough for labs and active learning, and welcoming enough to keep students there long after class.

Idaho State University’s Pharmacy program needed spaces that truly reflected the caliber of their program. The existing environment wasn’t meeting that standard — not for faculty, and not for students. In addition, the renovation needed dedicated space to display the history of pharmacy education at ISU, giving the building a sense of identity beyond the classroom.

Classrooms were furnished to support multiple teaching formats — lecture, lab, and small group work — without locking students into one configuration.
