The Spanish Springs Library in Sparks, Nevada just created a new space for their teens. This “Teen Room” is bright, interactive, and perfect for teen programs. To make the space edgy, black walls and metal grating contrast with brightly colored furniture. Flexible furniture makes it easy to reconfigure the space as needed and standing height tables provide different postures.
The Clark County Library has a bright and fun new space for meeting and collaboration. Tables with casters makes it easy to move and push them together to hold more people. Round tables surrounded by plush chairs create a space for people to settle in and stay a while. Whether this space is used for crafts, quiet reading, or finishing homework, it is designed to fit a lot of people and meet their seating needs.
The new McCall library feeds the heart, soul, and mind of its small mountain community. Their mission is to provide boundless opportunities to educate, inspire, and connect patrons of all ages, backgrounds, and views. This brand-new building is a beautifully constructed and playful space for all ages. Wood winds its way through the space reflecting the woodlands it sets within. Bright green colors keep the space bright and inviting and the furniture perfectly reflects those design choices.
The Silverado Ranch Community Center in Las Vegas is a hub for after school programs, art, sports, and other community activites. Create Spaces provided seating in high traffic areas like the kitchen and other collaboration rooms to make the spaces accessible and comfortable for all who use them.
When the White Pine Courthouse moved into a new location, it needed all new furniture. So, Create Spaces (formerly Machabee) helped furnish the building. From the entry and the courtroom, to offices for judges and staff, Create Spaces dug into its vast product catalog to find furniture that fit each space. Modular furniture that is easily cleaned filled the reception area while rich wood desks took their place in important offices.
Everyone needs a good office environment to increase productivity, ensure employee wellbeing, and lead to organizational success. This government office is full or private offices, open workstations for collaboration, and training rooms to keep this team on top of whatever the day throws at them.
When the Las Vegas Convention Center was in need of some upgrades in their private offices and lobby areas, they sought out Create Spaces. The private offices used custom wood furnishings with beautiful seating choices that complemented the desks and storage. In the conference room they opted for light finishes to create a very inviting collaborative space. Finally, they chose high end furnishings in the lobby to create a very welcoming environment.
About The Idaho State Supreme Court (IDSC) Renovation
The Idaho State Supreme Court (IDSC) building was constructed over 50 years ago. In 2023, it completed its first renovation. That renovation including major updates to the inside of the building including brand new rooms, reconfigurations, and furniture. OEC moved existing furniture and installed brand new private offices, conference and huddle rooms, workstations, and more. Take a look at the fantastic new look yourself!
Since 2008 there has been talk about rebuilding the Fish & Game building in downtown Boise. Today the new building is open and beautiful. OEC helped design, acquire, and install a variety of furniture for this space. The install team also helped hang a number of animal mounts throughout the building. About the Spokane Conservation District in Spokane Valley, WA
The Spokane Conservation District recently had its 80th birthday. For years it has been helping farmers and landowners make decisions about how to best utilize their natural resources. They celebrated with the opening of their brand new 12,350 s.f. building. It is located on their new 50-acre lot in the heart of Spokane Valley. Their new building has an agrarian, almost barn-like feel to its exterior. It also incorporates stone from the existing site inside. There are beautiful multipurpose rooms, a unique classroom, and functional private offices throughout the building. These spaces will help the SCD fulfill its mission for the next 80 years to come.
